WHAT DID THE ROMANS DO FOR US?

The Romans used seven letters to represent seven different numbers.

Los romanos usaban siete letras para representar los diferentes números.

They combined these seven letters to represent any number.

Ellos combinaban  estas letras para representar cualquier número.

We can find Roman numerals in some watches, in important bulidings and monuments…

Podemos encontrar números romanos en algunos relojes y en edificios o monumentos importantes...

      

We use Roman numerals in the the titles of monarchs. Our current King is Felipe VI, his father is the King Juan Carlos I.

También usamos los números romanos para los títulos de los monarcas. Nuestro rey actual es Felipe VI, su padre es el rey Juan Carlos I.
