An email is  a letter that we send by electronic mail (tha´s  the meaning). Years ago, when there were not internet we had to send hand writtenletters by postal service: we sent them in an envelope and we needed a stamp. Now we can do continue doing it but usually we send emails because they are faster.

Un email es una carta que mandamos por correo electrónico. Hace años cuando internet no exitía teníamos que mandar las cartas por correo postal; las metíamos en un sobre, le poníamos un sello y lo llevábamos al buzón. Ahora lo podemos seguir haciendo pero es más habitual mandar emails porque llegan al instante mientras que las cartas tardan unos días.

Podemos mandar emails formales  (a nuestros jefes, a organismos oficiales,...) o informales (a nuestros amigos o familia)

In the email we have to write:

From: the person who writes the email (la persona que escribe el email9

To: the person who recieve the email (quién lo recibe)

Subject: what is the email about (de qué trata, qué vamos a contar)

Attachment: if I send any document, picture, ...(si adjuntamos algún documento o foto)

En la tabla podemos ver cómo hacer preguntas en Pasado usando "What".

Por ejemplo, la pregunta subrayada en blanco:

"What did she drink?"------- ¿Qué bebió ella? ("did" nos indica que es pasado)

Ahora si miráis la tabla amarilla, podéis ver verbos irregulares en Pasado. Recordad que cuando un verbo es regular solo añadimos -ed en Pasado ( walk---walked).

Cuando un verbo es irregular, no hay una regla fija, se escriben de otra manera. Por ejemplo, drink en Pasado es drank.

- What did she drink?

- She drank an orange juice (no añadimos -s en she, he o it)

Como para los verbos irregulares no hay una norma nos tendremos que aprender el pasado de cada verbo (ahora no, poco a poco en los próximos cursos). Voy a mandaros una lista por Raíces/Roble.

En el 1 fijaos bien en cómo hacer las preguntas y en el 2 tenéis que escribir los verbos en Pasado así que mirad bien en la lista o en el recuadro del Pupil´s Book.
